xmonad --recompile

Cài xmonad xong, mò chép một cái xmonad.hs coi bộ rậm rạp hoa lá cành, nhưng gõ xmonad --recompile thì bị báo:

[sliabh@a3che ~]$ sudo xmonad --recompile
[sudo] password for sliabh:
Error detected while loading xmonad configuration file: /root/.xmonad/xmonad.hs
<no location info>: can't find file: xmonad.hs

xmonad: xmessage: executeFile: does not exist (No such file or directory)

Bạn nào từng cài xmonad bị chiêu này xin vui lòng chỉ dẫn? Cám ơn nhiều lắm đa!

Bác dùng command "ls -lah" để xem permission của thư mục .xmonad/ xem sao.

Ngay chính thư mục .xmonad/ đang ở quyền root rồi bác. Bác chạy command "sudo chown -R sliabh: .xmonad/" để set lại quyền về user sliabh.

Từ lúc lập thớt tới giờ là mình cài tới lần thứ 5 rồi a. Hai lần áp chót là cài để chạy với xfce4 nhưng đều thất bại: nhấn Alt+shift+Enter vẫn trơ thổ địa.
Lần chót này là mình cài arch xong, cài xmonad rồi chạy vài vòng cho ra mồ hôi sau đó mới cài thêm (paman -S xfce4 trơn), sau đó tại xterm gõ "xfce4-panel" thì thấy nó nhảy ra ngon lành. Nhờ vậy mới gọi ibus để chỉnh được.
Trên mạng có nhiều bài Guide xmonad kèm file xmonad.hs lê thê, nhưng copy vào chạy thử chưa thành công lần nào cả. Hiện nay vẫn chạy xmonad mà ở /root và ở ~/HOME đều không có .xmonad, cũng không có xmonad.hs! Vậy mà nó vẫn chạy mới kỳ.
