I have attached a CSV file from which I’m trying to import a small sample dataset from the thousands we need to migrate. It has a ResourceID field populated with UUIDs but when I run the import_business_data command, I get the message:

ERROR: No column 'ResourceID' found in business data file.
Please add a 'ResourceID' column with a unique resource identifier.

I’m at a loss to see what I've done wrong though quite prepared to believe I've missed something obvious. I've also attached the mappings file.

The full command I’m using is:

python manage.py packages -o import_business_data -s 'imports/Coastal Heritage Site.csv' -ow overwrite

Coastal Heritage Site.mapping
Coastal Heritage Site.csv

Hi Mike,

I'm not sure exactly what is wrong here but it appears to be some sort of formatting error. I was able to import your csv file (to another resource model) by copying 'ResourceID' from the error message you received and pasting over the name of your current ResourceID column name.

Let me know if you've already tried this or if it works for you.

Hi Mike,

I notice that your mapping file doesn’t have a ResourceID node. In the snip below I’d expect it to be between Report ID and SCHARP description.

This may not be the issue but if you’re importing UUIDs in you will need a node to store the value. Also in the spreadsheet you attached the ResourceID appears to just be a plain integer rather than a GUID
