3D Printer Help

Hello,

I haven't attended the space in quite a while due to COVID-19 but recently been vaccinated.

I've been having some trouble with a 3D printer of mine and wondering if someone could assist.  Are the 3D printer meetings still happening every 4th Friday?  I checked the calendar and they all show canceled so I wasn't sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Vince,

I have a Creality CR10S-Pro V1; I've been trying to upgrade to the BL Touch module but have had some difficulty once I tried uploading my new hex file to the main board (TinyMachines firmware).  As soon as I power on, I lose power, almost like it's shorting out somewhere...  I think I may have wired something wrong.

I'm at my wits end with this printer, it's given me nothing but problems from the get-go.  The nozzle continuously crashes into the bed.  I was told the BL Touch would fix this issue but now having even further issues.  I spent a pretty penny on the printer and have spent countless hours/dollars trying to get it printing smoothly so didn't really want to just chalk it up as a loss just yet.

But yes, any help would be great.  What is the name of the Facebook group?  I'd like to join if possible and hopefully get my issue resolved.
