FULLTEXT fuzzy search

emails.ensureIndex({ type: "fulltext", fields: [ "text" ], minLength: 3 })
emails.insert({text: "banana apple"})
emails.insert({text: "banana mango"})
emails.insert({text: "banana avocado"})
FOR mail IN FULLTEXT(emails, "text", "bannana")
    RETURN mail

Is there a way to do a full text fuzzy search.

Hi Dilip,

could you please elaborate on what do you mean by "fuzziness"? Do you refer to fuzzy query in Solr/ElasticSearch?

Yes, I mean fuzzy query like in Solr/ElasticSearch.

Ok, then we already have it in our backlog. Hopefully will add fuzzy filter in the next releases (e.g. 3.4.1)

Hi Dilip, it took a bit longer than expected, but please note that fuzzy match functionality will become a part of upcoming ArangoDB 3.7
