Missing map section

On my iphone AvareX app when I have sectional selected, I have strip from just east of 103 degrees longitude all the way to the east coast that is missing.  In the missing area it says download chart North Central and download chart East Central.  The northern and southern exents of the area run straight east/west.  When I zoom in and out the width of the missing area changes.  In the download section it shows that both of these sectional charts are up to date and portions of these charts do show up.  Version 0.0.73+73 on an iPhone 11 running ios 18.6.2.

download the sectional & tac charts for the next cycle, once they are downloaded you'll have to close avarex and reopen it and the problem will be solved.

the VFR charts are the same, the cycle actually began on Nov 27 and goes until Jan 22

I had similar problem with the area I fly North Central. I had to download the chart for the next cycle. Look for a button lower left corner, "This Cycle". Change to "Next Cycle" and download the chart. It will generate a red error message, but the chart works. Maybe.

That fixed it, sort of.  Of course I don't actually have current charts for that area but rather ones that will be current on 12/25.

The charts are current, the data cycle for the VFR charts runs from Nov 27 through Jan 22, 2026.

Avare made the decision long ago to simply update the charts on a 28day cycle even though not all charts expired on a 28 day cycle.  The exception is IFR approach plates which  do expire on a 28 day cycle

Thanks for the help.  I am curious though is to how it happens.  I am sure that I had looked during this cycle and the charts didn't have missing sections.
