They posted this:
https://www.apps4av.org/share/beta/

I don't know if more recent versions are available elsewhere.

You can download the most recent version from GitHub, specifically go here -> https://github.com/apps4av/avarex/actions from here you'll see what are called "Workflows" choose the top workflow (just to the right of the green check mark) then on the next page scroll down to "Artifacts" and choose the correct file for your system.

For example, if you download the file for Android you'll get a file called "Android.zip" this needs to be extracted and will create a folder called Android, inside the folder will be a file called "master-apk.zip" this too will need to be extracted creating a folder called "master-apk" within this folder is a file called "app-release.apk" this is the file needed to install the software.  For now you need to uninstall the previous version of AvareX before installing a newer version, this should change soon.

Keep in mind the software downloaded on GitHub is literally hot off the press (compiler?) and hasn't had any real testing done and AvareX is still a work in progress.

This was a big help for me. I was able to download it to one of my
android tablets, and everything seems to be working fine. Plates come up
fine. GPS works good. I'll test the traffic later today when I'm out at
my hangar, and try to make a flight plan.

I'm still having trouble with the windows version, though. I don't know
what I'm doing wrong, but it will not run at all now. I've tried
downloading again, but nothing seems to work. Question: Are there two
files we must download to run windows? Like a master file and then the
artifact? I had it working somewhat originally, but now nothing works.
It won't even load. It's a mystery, but probably something very simple.

Won't be able to test much today as it's raining and snowing here and
around Tucson.

Jim,

You are almost there, under Artifacts click on "Android", "Linux", etc to download the application for your platform.  I had trouble downloading the android version on one of my tablets and ended up simply copying it over from my desktop.  Also I know the software will not work (yet) on the Samsung SM-T380 which is one of the Tab A series, it does work on the SM-T290 also from the Tab A series... go figure

OK, so doing that just now (4/1 0115z) on my Linux laptop I clicked
"added bunch of help" and there's nothing clickable under Artifacts. Up
in the "dart.yml" section I clicked Android and went instantly down a
fruitless rabbit hole that seems to enable compiling (danger, Will). I
tried a one or two earlier items in the Workflows list and hit the same
wall.

Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks

Yargh! For anyone else who finds no Artifacts to play with, you need to
Log In to the GitHub page for AvareX in order for the recent Alpha
releases to be anything more than a list of exciting names.

Now I'm going to nab the Linux and Android versions to play with...

ps - interesting how much difference there is in the file sizes:
Android 36.9 MB
Linux 18.6 MB
MacOS 201 MB
WindowsX64 24.7 MB
iOS 82.7 MB
*MacOS about 11x bigger than Linux.

Some fiddling, but the Mar.31 version appears to be installed on
Pixel7pro Android14.
Herewith my notes.

*Might want an Install HowTo packaged with the release version, in case
users get lost in the Android settings menu (e.g. navigating from the
install to/from Android GPS settings. Of course, most users just leave
everything on all the time, so maybe just a Help item on the website.

*Suggest action items (e.g. Download) in the cool new install process be
Buttons (larger font, background (presumably rounded ends). Same for
Start in upper-right corner of Download list screen.

*Suggest "Delete your selections Y/N?" on the "<- Download" button (yes,
I tapped it as some will surely do and the selections of course are lost).

*The n/n at the top is nice, and a progress bar beneath would be welcome
along with a Downloads Complete notification and automatic return to the
Install process.

*Any plans to add an active "See it Now" button on the "Join the Forum"
page of Install?

*Suggest pop up if no map is displayed (i.e. nothing in Chart or OSM or
no active layer).

*Make long-press on "i" button keep it open.

*Add a "D" button to Find.

*Suggest losing the punctuation prefix in Find and just add a row of
buttons.

*Suggest revert to Find functions in Avare. GPS acquired I did Find SMX
and got the direct route, then did Find LAX and it routed me from
location to SMX then LAX.

OK, late dinner...

apparently you MUST be logged into GitHub otherwise clicking on the link "android", "Linux" etc will not work.

I saw a comment about that on the forum a day or two ago, that of course explains why I couldn't download on one of my tablets.

If not logged into GitHub, you can look but not "touch" in that you
can't Download the file to install the AvareX alpha testing/feedback
version. Without login the files are displayed as described in several
prior posts here, but not displayed in Bold font style. That's to
indicate you can't click on them to do anything (e.g. Download).
