On Google Play for Androids there is an app called ESP Trainer by Neptunq.   It has exactly the same look, with the 4 colors. 

Could this be the same one from Russ ??

It’s all good. Many people are coming across the old app (which is great, by the way!), and there is a bit of confusion. The Android app that looks similar is from Serbia, and as far as I can tell, is not by Russell Targ. Just trying to help clear up any confusion, and eager to try out the new app!

Thanks, Mike. Mr. Silverstein, LOL. Russell said it was too expensive to make an Android version. I may buy a used older iPhone just to use the APP. I have a never used Samsung Galaxy S5 if someone wants to trade it for an older iPhone?

Exactly how much is "too expensive".. do you have a rough idea?

In my experience find apps like Russ's vastly improving my skillset -  the times I made use of them. Reduced my session practice time alot. Getting results.

How about a poll to check interest - the viewing community can maybe all make a minute contribution to sponsor android (monetary or other)?

I see myself also getting an apple just for this, like you🙂 (and probably other serious viewers)

.. But if all gave a smaller part of what their extra Apples would cost - to make this available to all, would it not be really really nice - and also help expand psi and interest into the field -  in the process?

I really would like to see Russ's app get the recognition it deserves. I mean..it was alot of work and time to do that. 

I know Lyn Buchanan has people helping him convert programs between mac/apple and windows (unsure android). And am I sure trainers will be interested in this also.

How about throwing a stone in the community bush and see what jumps out? :)))

It's David Levitt, the engineer behind the Starget ESP Trainer app, as well as Russ's original ESP Trainer app.  I appeared briefly in Russell’s presentation yesterday.

I’m using (my wife) Gail Hayssen’s account to reply to these messages and clarify a few things.

First, I’m excited by everyone’s enthusiasm and honored to be implementing Russell’s vision.  He’s been my friend for decades and as you know he’s done some of the most exciting work in the field.

As Russ and Marty told the group yesterday, the Stargate ESP app is available to you free today, but it is NOT in the App Store yet. Russ's friends (and anyone you want to invite) can enjoy the pre-release “beta” app version by obtaining it through the following link:

Click it from an iOS device and you’ll be able to install the beta version of Stargate ESP on an iPhone or iPad, using Apple's TestFlight app to install it. You’ll get instructions once you click.

To answer your other questions:

Available Now -- NOT at the App Store

You won’t find it in the App Store yet.  It will be by next week.

(Under Russell’s name you can still find the ESP Trainer app in the App Store, but it is far less compelling than Stargate ESP for reasons he explained in his Ask Me Anything yesterday.)

Install the Stargate ESP beta now via the link.  When it’s available in the App Store Russ can email you here  when it’s time to download the release version — which will initially be free.

Impostor Apps

If you’re finding other ESP trainer apps in the App Store — paid apps or Lithuanian apps — they are NOT Russell’s app!! and you should ignore them, he knows nothing about them.  Consider them knock offs and don’t install them.

Compatibility with Old Phones

Stargate ESP is built to run on any iPhone or iPad running iOS 10.0 or higher.  That takes us back several years (Apple’s current annual iOS release is 14.5) and this chart says it will run on an iPhone 5 or newer, pretty old! 

No Android Version Planned

There will not be an Android or PC version, at least not from me, and Russell isn’t planning one.  I don’t do those.  (Actually I work exclusively on Apple and mainly with augmented reality apps the use LiDAR, the breathtaking 3D sensors on newer iPhone Pros and iPad Pros that enable realistic physics. In general Android provides an inferior user experience.  It will also nnever support the magic of LiDAR, which requires special hardware.  Oddly enough, Russell was an early proponent of LiDAR from his laser work, and his license plate is LIDAR.). It’s iOS Only.  If there’s interest in a Mac version I can make that a priority.

I’m glad to see people trying to round up compatible iPhones!  Someone should tell Tim Cook at Apple that Russ’s app is creating new markets for their old hardware!   ;)
