The list should be up to date. I believe I've added all the requested email addresses.

Some guy named Bill asked about indoor ball. For those who don't know, Commissioner Sameek found us a great place to play inside. It's the Bill McDonald Athletic Center (2865 Olentangy River Rd.). We split the cost. It's reasonably priced and conveniently located for most of us.

Expect the Commissioner to email later in the week to organize the next game. If you're going to play, responding to the email is important. He won't reserve the court if we don't have enough players.

Please see the signup for indoor basketball in the google spreadsheet. You should be able to edit and write in your name, and mark yes/no for dates.

I've marked mine. If you have trouble, let me know.

Sundays, 8a-10am, Bill Mcdonald indoor courts (bethel road and olentangy river road)

By signing up you are committing to the rental

I will rely on this sign up to make sure we have enough.

Dates listed are for November and December. We will do Jan and Feb later.

Number of people:

If we have 8 people, we will rent the gym for the date. Based on turnouts and interest, I am anticipating that we will likely rent most sundays except dec 26 where we might not have enough, will see.
If we get more than 15 people, we will have to make an adjustment, half court 4v4 etc, as we only have 1 court.
If we get a lot more than 15, we can consider a second court.

Fees:

The court rental is $80 for 2 hours.

We will collect $10 per person, initially, as I am not sure what our numbers will be consistently, and seems as though we thought $10 was reasonable.

Any excess fees collected will roll over to future rentals OR as group decides (such as charitable giving that we decide together).

I will track fees on the google doc.

I will have Venmo or Zell availability later.

Trash Talk:

Permission slips will be collected at a later date.

Dont leave your basketball at the court Stephen, it will be lost.

Undefeated teams will be ranked 6

Teams with 1 or even 2 losses from the state of Alabama, will automatically get a playoff spot.

No one has said anything about my shoe lace tying sklz----no loose ends. what's up.

Some one will have to help our seniors with signup.

Thanks for completing the google doc, we had 13 people sign up.

I reserved Nov 7 at Bill McDonald.

Unfortuantely, McDonald court is not consistently available on Sun or Sat at 8am beyond Nov 7.

It is available Nov 28.

Other courts that could be reserved:

Willis indoor basketball court

Cleo indoor basketball court

OSU ARC ($100/2 hours)

Please mark (Column K and L and M), whether you would go to these, these are probably 20 minutes from each of us.

Having flexibility will give us more chances to rent the court on a given day.

However, good news, is that the OSU court rental is cheaper than Columbus Parks&Rec, $50 (vs $80) so we will collect less money.

For OSU, since I have reserved the court, you will NOT have to pay any additional fees to OSU. I reserved the court.
