Hi all,

We are happy to announce a date and time for a Lake and River Organization Meeting!  Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey to share input on this meeting.

 

Our in-person meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 17^th from 1-3 PM in the West Conference Room at the Polk County Government Center (signs will be posted).

We will kick off the meeting with brief introductions, followed by an informal discussion.  Please be prepared to share what is happening on your lake or river.  Based off the survey, topics that are likely to be brought up for discussion include: aquatic invasive species, water quality, wake boats, grants and financial assistance, alum, and plant management. 

 

We will close the meeting with a brief follow-up (what worked well about the meeting, what could be improved, are these meetings beneficial, is there interest in continuing these meetings).

 

All are welcome to attend—please share this email with others on your lake group.
