Hi. I am writing a scientific book, and some of my citations are articles with a species name in the title. The standard is to make the species name italics. Here is an example title:

Regulation underlying hierarchical and simultaneous utilization of carbon substrates by flux sensors in Escherichia coli

How do I give just part of the title italic formatting? I tried putting and around the species name, but it just came out in the bibliography as

Regulation underlying hierarchical and simultaneous utilization of carbon substrates by flux sensors in Escherichia coli

Thanks for your help!

Hello Ann,

Unfortunately Jutoh doesn't currently allow formatting within citations, so this isn't possible except by editing the Epub/HTML in a suitable editor after generation. Sorry about that. I will make a note to think about this further though.

Regards,

Julian
