Hi,
When I buy a Ant Media Server by AWS, should I pay one license per instance?
I bought one but when I create a cluster, AWS is billing me more than only one license.

Hi jefferson bernardino,

If you bought it from AWS marketplace, everything is included in the AWS billing. But if you open a regular EC2 instance, you need to buy cluster licence from us.
AWS is also billing the data transfer and storage usage. You should ask them for further investigation.
Best Regards,
Enes Kuluk.

Hi jefferson bernardino,

But on the other hand you can also use single license on a regular ec2 instance. You are not bound to buy cluster license if you are about to use regular ec2 instance.

Hi, thanks for your answer.
So, I've contacted AWS to change my license from t2.medium to t2.large but they told me that I must contact the seller (Ant Media).
I'd like to know how can I do about this.

regards

I'm using an AWS license annual billing, it's not possible to start a new smaller instance (t2.medium) because there is a limitation on the Ant Media Server AMI, only t2.large or bigger.

Hi jefferson bernardino,

Are you using the license from AWS Marketplace? If you do, it's hourly billing. So you can delete your old instance which is t2.large and open a new one with smaller.
