Play aborted if one host is unreachable

Hello,

I have a play with a "serial" defined in it. This play fails if one of the hosts in the inventory is unreachable and is not executed on the rest of the hosts.

I have found the exact same problem that was reported to Ansible bug report:  https://github.com/ansible/ansible/issues/11997 and is marked as solved.
However with Ansible version 2.4 I still face this issue.

I'm wondering if anybody has already found a solution for this problem or is there at least some workaround?
