Hello Team,

Based on my research, there is no straight way to manage windows 2003 servers using Ansible and there are some github repos which share Ansible Core packages that use powershell 2.0 (windows 2003) but it is not complete.

I was wondering if any of you had a chance to tackle this in your careers and managed to do it. I am evaluating AWS SSM and MS SCCM to overcome this limitation.

Thanks in advance,

Best,
Yash.

No.

Server 2003 has been end of life since July 2015 and you should be focusing your efforts off getting this platform than making it easier to manage.

I really wish that was easy! :(

The project I am working on is for a client who is running the company on Windows 2003. We are skeptical of upgrading the OS as the applications might break and they don't have the binaries for most of the apps on the servers in order for us to test.
