Hi everybody,

is it possible to make "--check" the default behaviour?

I could only think of a wrapper or aliases, but would prefer to set it
in ansible.cfg

I have only found always_run=true as the opposite case

Regards,
Benjamin

It is not currently possible, but you can open a feature request or pull request to make it so.

Rising it as "issue" seemed a bit harsh to me, but:
https://github.com/ansible/ansible/issues/14485

Have I missed something or do I have to rely on others (part of your
org) to label it as a feature request?

no, sadly in github the only way to label is if you have commit access to the repo, but done.
