Using ansible tower best practice to segregate data

Hello

I am migrating from puppet to ansible and using tower,

I have question on managing data as per the role of server (dmz/core) or as per different region or datacentre (similar to hiradata in puppet) whats best way to acheive this ? How can i utilize tower for the same.

Appreciate some document/blog and some guidance on same.
