RTM and follow the best practices and you should be fine.  I have used Ansible for almost 3 years and thanks God I do not miss Puppet or such.

I recently joined a new company and in the process of porting our SaltStack over to Ansible.   

I am a believer in Ansible and you just have to use it to see how much times you will save.
