bigip_irule module and token authentication

Hi

Does anyone know whether the bigip_irule module supports token authentication?  Using remote (ldap) auth to the BigIP and, while initial authentication is successful, subsequent REST calls fail with auth error.  

All indications are that module does not support tokens, but unable to find any definitive documentation.
