ERROR: filedescriptor out of range in select()

Hello, 

I am getting the following error when running ansible to control 500 machines.
/home/sharath.g/codet]$ ansible --version
ansible 2.1.0 (devel 8f1303c81a) last updated 2016/03/04 12:01:52 (GMT +550)
  lib/ansible/modules/core: (detached HEAD 0bbb7ba38d) last updated 2016/03/04 12:02:00 (GMT +550)
  lib/ansible/modules/extras: (detached HEAD 39e4040685) last updated 2016/03/04 12:02:09 (GMT +550)
  config file = 
  configured module search path = Default w/o overrides


/home/sharath.g/code]$ python --version 
Python 2.7.3

linux version
/home/sharath.g/code]$ uname -a 
Linux dev 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.68-1+deb7u2 x86_64 GNU/Linux
