Backend: STWFSA Learn

Hi was wondering if there was a way to configure  STWFSA to undertake incremental learning via the learn command? As have data that I want to add to the corpus a bit at a time..

Hello Phil,

 

currently it is not possible to use the learn command with the STWFSA backend. The only backend supporting incremental learning at this time is the nn_ensemble backend.

Moritz, thanks for coming back to me, I wonder if anyone is using the nn_ensemble with STWFSA? 

And if so what are key points to consider..

Hi Phil,

You can use NN ensemble around any backend (just one or several in an
ensemble). I've used it with STWFSA for some experiments and it worked
fine. For best results, you should train the NN ensemble with a
different set of documents than those use used to train STWFSA.

Osma many thanks for the pointers..
Thanks for all the effort your team is putting into this project it’s quite exciting.

Currently I’m working on integrating annif with vocabseditor https://github.com/acdh-oeaw/vocabseditor to manage my corpus, will share with this group when made a bit more progress.

 Maybe others in the annif community  can use this simple tool.
