Very frustrated. Change cloze deletion to basic note type ?!?!

I created many cards and accidentally made them the 'cloze' type, and they don't work like normal note cards. It would be very useful if you could change the existing type of note from say, a cloze type to basic.

Why is this not possible, am I going to have to remake 100 cards?

You can change note type easily in the desktop version for all your 100 cards. Please do that and sync back to AnkiDroid.

Only use AnkiWeb if you are winning to give up on your cards confidentiality though, as the developer can see your card contents, email and IP, so your collection will not be 100% safe only you go that route.
