Hallo. When I updated my Samsung Galaxy 5 to Android 6 I have lost access to Ankidroid folder because of changing path (alias) to the munted card. There is a new storage alias name convention in Andr.6.0 and before SD card was named "extSdCard" but now it names "SD_serial_number". This will be changed too if you try to change SD card to other one (i.e. greater). I tried to edit folder path in Anki settings but I have received message, that it is not proper folder. What can I do?
It is very very important to fix it..., not only for me :)
Best regards

You should check the correct path with a file manager and set it accordingly. But note that SD cards aren't officially supported and we can't guarantee they'll work.

Thanks for your answer. But as I wrote I tried to change this path to proper (reeded in Total Commander - "/storage/18D5-A4FD" instead
early "/storage/extSdCard") but Anki says that is not correct folder.
Maybe dash "-" in the name is a problem? What can I do if I can't change alias name for SD card?

As I said, SD cards aren't officially supported and might not work (see issue #3106). I can't help you with this any further.

Thanks for your answer. I have moved Anki folder to internal storage and then it works OK…

But question is about future and your plans. Will you work on SD card suport in Ankidroid?

Best Regards

Marek
