Hi,

I have deleted Ankiweb account to retart it because sync problems could  not be solved. Even if I do not have an Anki Web account now, however,  if I download the Anki app in my laptop and smartphone, the wrong decks keep appearing same as before.
Even though I left Anki Web, why does the previous wrong deck keep appearing when I reinstall the Ankiapp? Is it because the wrong anki deck files still exists in my devices?

Thanks
JH BAE

Hi,

Ankiapp is a totally distinct application. We do not know how it works and can't provide help for it, as we are AnkiDroid.

Good luck with your problem.

Hi there!

We *only* support AnkIDroid here. Not AnkiApp (which is a clone / ripoff for profit - don't use it...) and not Anki Desktop (that's supported at https://forums.ankiweb.net)

For AnkIDroid alone - we store our data in /sdcard/AnkiDroid in the 2.15 series, so if you uninstall the data is still there. If you want to start completely clean on your android device you need to uninstall AnkIDroid *and* delete /sdcard/AnkiDroid (using the file manager of your choice) then install AnkIDroid again and it will be completely empty.

Obviously this destroys all of the AnkiDroid data on your Android device, this seems to be your goal but I take accidental data loss seriously of course so I just want to make sure this is understood
