Issue with hidden text being shown on the top card

Hi,

I have an issue that is specific to 1) ankidroid; and 2) ankiweb, but does not occur on the desktop version of Anki.

To put it simply, on the desktop version of Anki looks like this:

The ankidroid and ankiweb (of the same deck) looks like this:

This is endlessly confusing for me. I have fiddled around with the card info but nothing seems to work - I am not even sure how the black bar is achieved (I think it's the < b> function, but I thought that is supposed to bold the item). 

Is there a way I could resolve this issue for all the cards in the deck please? Thank you very much!

Hi there!

Without seeing the card template I'm not sure what is going on, but this looks like some sort of advanced formatting in the card template
