Re change card type from edit current screen.

 I am often reviewing a card and realise that I need to change the note type but I cannot do this from the edit current card window, I have to go to the browser, find the card and then change its card type. Is there an addon which would allow me to change the note type directly?

Please let me know if you are aware of such an addon.

That is actually possible in AnkiDroid. But I guess you're using Anki Desktop, in that case you should use this forum: https://anki.tenderapp.com/discussions

AnkiDroid is developed independently from the other versions.
