Images from downloaded deck arent showing

Dear Anki Forum,

recently I have downloaded a very important deck that I plan on using for university. Unfortunately a good few of the cards have images in them.

Anki on my laptop, on my phone and AnkiWeb only show the „image icon“, meaning it doesn‘t load?

Is there something that could be done to fix this? I know deinstalling or reloading or syncing will be offered as solutions but maybe there is something else I could try if the aforementioned solutions fail (syncing didn’t work btw).

Hi there -

If you have missing images on all platforms it sounds like something might be wrong with the notes themselves, such that the image references are either incorrect, or the deck you imported does not actually contain the media (even though the notes reference it...)
