Update any specification element of page

Hi,

I am working on a video tutorial application. 

Where I need to show progress in percentage.

For the now, I am updating complete page to update any specific video percentage circle. that is irrelevant. 
is there any mechanism to update any particular element of the page   

I am updating the page every pause and every mint as well
