I am having one project that is run on version of angular 6 and cli 6 as well.
But i am starting new project as well to get latest version like 9. I need to update mu cli and angular version.
My question is that, if i update my cli & angular version. Will old project be continue to work as it is working now.

Or, there is any other way to manager different version of angular & cli

Hi,

I'm not an expert but what if you install the @angular/cli locally on the project folder no globally (-g).. please someone correct me if it is not the case...

happy coding

Hi,
You can install a new cli or update your current version globally. Either way you shouldn't have any issues running the current angular 6 project. The updated CLI should work well with both projects.
