The question is: what do you want installed instead?

Do that, and your question will be answered.

I dunno if that would break GRUB Bootloader... Oh also i forgot to mention on how to ALSO uninstall GRUB from the EFI partition. I know how to mount the EFI partition via 'mountvol' on Windows 10, but thhat would be risky because i might mess up and break my pc.

yup it is for some games except pubg all other online shooting games are unstable... but its really good in other ways like, lightweight system, easy to install, decapro keymapper, and all that other stuff to... 🐸

good question, PrimeOS is an OS based on Android-X86.

Advantages:

1. Built-in keymapper (for gaming)
2. Desktop-Like screen
3. It runs Android. (of course)
4. Some Google Apps like Play Store and YouTube

Disadvantages:

1. Its inactive
2. Youre stuck on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat)
3. A bit unstable
4. I dont know why but it asks for your personal information to set up the device.

It also says to enter personal info to "Activate" PrimeOS. Despite Android is FREE and OPEN SOURCE

I would say the answer to the last point is your first item 4.

Use Bliss OS 11.13 instead of prime os, has arm64 support and more apps work, free and open source, android 9. You also can use tincore keymapper.

Can we atleast stop being off-topic here? Because i want a real answer on how to delete PrimeOS and GRUB 2.02 forever. Without risking my pc to be bricked because of modifying the BIOS or something like that

In my opinion, it's not so much a matter of deleting PrimeOS and Grub, but of
replacing them (at the very least, Grub) with something else.

If you simply delete the PrimeOS partition, then it becomes unused space on
your hard disk - you may or may not be able to re-use that with another
Operating System, but that's beyond my expertise (since I believe your other
Operating Systems are MS Windows).

However, if you delete Grub, you will not be able to boot your machine into
anything.

What you need to do is to replace Grub with another boot loader, and you
presumably want the one from Microsoft, which offers you Windows.

So, the primary answer to your question "how do I delete Grub?" is that you
install the MS Windows boot loader in its place.

Regards,

Antony.

Are you being effing serious? You started with this childish off-topic
nonsense. PrimeOS is not Android-x86. Different project. Wrong forum.
Fail. And can you also stop using top posting? It's annoying. Just go
away.

This should not how Android-x86 forum work, you are the one who talk nonsense here so don't ask people to leave.
PrimeOS is a Android-x86 based OS, if not then prove it.
And Scripter Provider, about the uninstallation, if you are on Legacy BIOS then download BootICE, and reload PBR and MBR to Bootmgr (WindowsNT 6.x), if you are on UEFI, you can use BootICE to delete PrimeOS boot entry on their UEFI section, after that reboot and check if you can boot straight into Windows then trace the PrimeOS files + grub and delete it.
If BootICE can't handle your UEFI boot entry then you can try something like EasyUEFI

I will try that solution. If it works then we can finally end this argument and delete primeos and grub forever.

Also why did someone call this subject:

Re: [Spam, troll, Off topic] (along with my subject "Re: How to uninstall PrimeOS")

Everyone in the Android-X86 community should be nice.

(Im not trying to be a mod or something)

Alright so i have deleted the boot entry for  PrimeOS so i made "Windows EFI Boot Manager" the default. So Windows will now be the default to boot.

Capture.PNG

Whats next is to delete GRUB from the EFI  Partition.

Which means i have to forcibly mount the EFI Partition (Named ESP)

So which stuff do i have to delete here?

Capture.PNG

I think you have to also delete this: "EFI PARTITION\boot\grub"

With the power of google groups subscriptions (where you get an email when a reply comes on a conversation or a new forum post comes), Im just reminding you guys what i should delete on the efi partition. I already know that you have to format the primeos partition using diskmgmt.msc or minitool partition wizard

I use old gmail (for android 2.3) just for fun

Frankly you can probably leave the ESP alone, especially if you're planning on only keeping Windows in the long term and not installing any other OSes, it's not like you can use the space there for your data or whatever anyway.

The android folder there should be safe to delete, as well as that grub folder.
