Did Android emulator --http-proxy only support HTTP side, and did not support HTTPS site

Would really appreciate your help.

I use the latest android emulator, and set --http-proxy.

I tried this this, it can open HTTP site, but failed to open HTTS site. Is this a known issue, what is route cause?

also similar reported issue -http-proxy paramater does not work if you connect to https sites a few years ago.

Took a quick look at proxy code https://android.googlesource.com/platform/external/qemu/+/refs/heads/master/proxy/proxy_http.c, looks like we only support HTTP 1.x ?
