Looking for a way to dump data memory accesses to a log file.

Hi, I am trying to dump data memory accesses from various sources (CPU and others) I came across a function cpu_physical_memory_read, which is being called inside many modules like those of display and net etc. But, these functions are not being executed (reason being that these modules are not being called). 

Can someone help me with use case of those modules.
