What is hostname and port number where GCM registration request is sent

Hi,

I have implemented GCM server and GCM enabled client. But Sometimes, I don't get the registration id from GCM. What could be the reasons for this? I have Google Play services installed.

I was wondering what  is hostname and port number where GCM registration request is sent by
GoogleCloudMessaging.register(<sender_id>) method?

it's an HTTPs POST to Google Servers.
