Why did you name it Soong, Kati, Ninja ?

I have question about the soong build system.

 

I want to know why did you name it Soong, Kati, Ninja?

Is the name meaningful?'

Kati and Soong appear to be from Star Trek.

I assume that Ninja comes from here :-)

Soong is from Noonian Soong, who built Androids.  I don't remember what Kati means, it's not Star Trek related (the project predates Soong), I think it's a play on words in Japanese.
