Build 8.0.0_r12 but can't boot to Launcher

Hello All,

I downloaded the android-8.0.0_r12 source code and driver binaries and built Nexus Player images (aosp_fugu-userdebug). The compiling was OK, but after flashing the images(boot, recovery, system) to the Nexus Player, I can not correctly boot to the Leanback Launcher.

Check the logcat log (as attached file), it repeatedly shows "FallbackHome: User unlocked but no home; let's hope someone enables one soon?"

The message comes from Setting app:

It seems like no running app to receive the HOME intent.Does anyone encounter same/similar issue?

Looks like LeanbackLauncher.apk is broken. If you replace your /vendor/google/fugu/proprietary/LeanbackLauncher.apk from Android 7.1.2 (N2G48C), then you'll get a working (legacy) home screen.
