How to build AOSP fast

Hello Android Building Group,
I am trying to build AOSP for testing and I noticed that latest versions of Android are taking relatively more time to build the system. Is there any work around to reduce building time. I have read about Bazel and RBE but cannot find some concrete documentation to move forward.
