Thanks for sharing this Chaitanya!
This roundtable is being held to celebrate the publication of Professor Marsha Meskimmon's new book, Transnational Feminisms and Art’s Transhemispheric Histories: Ecologies and Genealogies (Routledge: 2023), the second volume of the trilogy, Transnational Feminisms and the Arts.
With respect to this list, Marsha is a dear and inspiring colleague and friend to many of us in Australasia and a great supporter of all the work done here over many decades in support of contemporary Asian art.
The transhemispheric, 'long-clock' programme kicks off with speakers based on this side of the world this Friday evening, and includes short presentations from academics, artists, and curators of art working on an array of topics connected to the roundtable theme of Planetary Feminisms: Decoloniality, Ecological Thinking, Creative Praxis.
