Dear All,
Yesterday, we held the newly anointed AMTOI Cricket Carnival 2026 at the St . Andrews Turf, which was a grand success.
I would like to place on record, my sincere thanks and appreciation to the Chief Architects of the event, which starts from the Events Committee comprising of Ravi and Vasant, who along with our AMTOI Secretariat, worked tirelessly to ensure a flawless and well-configured event.
A special mention needs to be made to Haresh, our Honorary Secretary, who was there from start to finish, ensuring flawless logistics and soothing frayed temper in the sultry Mumbai heat J
Thanks to Shankar, Sharmila, and Rubin for being there through out and lending moral support.
A big thanks to our sponsors especially to George and Lenny who pitched in at the last moment at my personal request with a large contribution to save the event, notwithstanding the support we got from other MC members.
I was also deeply touched when Dushyant called up late Friday evening, asking if any additional funds were needed besides his contribution to make sure we did not make a loss. It is this ethos that makes AMTOI the family that it is.
Thanks to all our efforts we have broken even and are even in a marginal surplus.
We will ensure that the next AMTOI Cricket Carnival is bigger, better and bolder.
Congratulations to all the winners and the participants.
Good luck and God bless!

Dear Xerrxes,
Thank you for your generous words and kind acknowledgement.
The success of the AMTOI Cricket Carnival 2026 truly belongs to the entire AMTOI family. From the Events Committee to our ever-reliable Secretariat, to every MC member — especially Sharmila, Vasant, Rubin and Shankarbhai—it was a collective effort in the truest sense.
I sincerely appreciate your mention, but the seamless execution was possible only because of the teamwork, mutual trust, and shared commitment that defines the Association of Multimodal Transport Operators of India.
A special note of gratitude goes to our sponsors for their continued support. As rightly said, this spirit of stepping forward without hesitation makes AMTOI more than just an association — it truly makes it a family.
I would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to the team at Collective Heads for curating and managing the event so professionally, and for their personal presence throughout the day to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their dedication added tremendous value to the overall experience.
Most importantly, congratulations to all the participating teams for upholding the spirit of fair play and camaraderie, which was the very foundation of this Carnival.
We look forward to making the next edition bigger, better, and bolder — together.
Warm Regards,

Dear Xerxes, Ravi, and Esteemed Members of the Managing Committee, and Past Presidents,
Thank you for your detailed note, Xerxes & Ravi, and for the generous acknowledgement of the collective effort behind the AMTOI Cricket Carnival 2026, which reflects our shared commitment and makes everyone feel proud of the achievement.
First, I join you in formally commending the Events Committee—Xerxes, Ravi, Vasant—and the Secretariat team for their leadership and support in delivering a well-executed event under demanding conditions. I also appreciate Haresh’s hands-on leadership throughout the day and the visible support from Shankar, Sharmila, Rubin, and others, which reinforces our collective strength and dedication. Anand’s generous hosting of the draw, with its hospitable atmosphere, has become iconic, seeding a transformational positioning from tournament to carnival.
The sheet anchor Support extended by George and Lenny, and the proactive gesture from Dushyant, demonstrate the strength of institutional trust within AMTOI.
Above all, the support and guidance from the managing committee are critical, including the generous doubled baseline financial support from the Past Presidents, the managing committee, former MCM and WRC members, which played a vital role in making the event possible. Please excuse any inadvertent omission of unique supporters who have not been personally or adequately recognised.
Most importantly, congratulations to all participants and winners for the amazing display of talent, sporting spirit, and camaraderie, which highlights the collective strength of our community.
Sincere regards,
Shantanu Bhadkamkar President – AMTOI
