MINUTES OF MEETING 16/11/14: A NEW START FOR EDEN PARK


Attendees: 50+ from all towers


Venue: Garden Area


Points discussed:


1. COMPLETION OF PROJECT – The status of the project was appraised, which is yet to be completed in totality. It was decided that the issue shall be raised with Amrapali Management.

 

2. LAWLESSNESS INSIDE THE PREMISES

 

i. Entry & parking of unauthorized cars at unauthorized places – Amrapali Management will be advised to issue proper and better gate stickers/passes to all residents. Also to ensure that cars and two wheelers are not parked in the driving area of the complex particularly outside D,C and A blocks.


ii. Damage of play area surface by crackers during Diwali. – It was decided that henceforth crackers shall be only burst on the commercial area or designated areas behind A and D blocks


iii. Ruining of park area which has been converted to playground. – It was agreed that cricket and football shall not be played in the park area.


iv. Swimming pool is being used for cycling & playing. – It was decided that children shall be educated to not use the same for such activities which may inturn cause them physical hurt too.

 

3. SAFETY & SECURITY

 

i. No dedicated guard for individual tower – Amrapali Management will be requested to deploy 1 guard per tower on the ground floor with proper desk, chair, intercom and register


ii. No video phone are provided as claimed at the time of booking. – Amrapali management shall once again be requested to adhere to their commitments.


iii. Intercom seldom functions.- 70 residents have already signed up for change of the internet provider and introduction of other players like Airtel, Hathway, Spectranet etc. Balance residents in favour of more broadband companies shall be approached very soon for their signature and votes. Post which we shall immediately get the written approvals from Amrapali management for facilitating the same.

iv. Fire fighting system are yet not in place. Also no proper training / awareness camp organized by Amrapali to create concern in resident for fire.- Shall be raised again with Amrapali Management along with issues of Emergencies exit in all blocks in the event of a fire.

 

v. Dozens of unauthorized persons have access not only to the premises but also to the flats. – Standard Operating Practices/processes have already been obtained from Maxiss Security and its implementation shall be ensured. Also records to be maintained of all people living in PG accommodation in flats.

 

4. HOUSEKEEPING & HYGINE

i. Building Material & debris are kept wherever there is space available. -  Issue to be taken up with Amrapali Management

 

ii. Unhygienic water of Swimming pool gave lots of ailments to residents who used the pool. – To be discussed in Summers. Water softening plant to be made functional immediately.

 

iii. Due to lack of cleanliness all over, mosquitoes are available in abundance. No fogging is being undertaken since inception leading to serious ailment of the residents – Frequency of fogging needs to be increased immediately.

 

iv. Greenery and sweeping is far below the desirable level. –  Shall be taken up with Amrapali Management, however all residents are requested to cooperate and ensure that their surrounding is spick and span

 

v. Inadequate lighting in pathways. – Proper lighting provision to be taken up with Amrapali Management

 

 

5. GENERAL M&R

i. Gensets are not equipped with auto start mechanism leading delay in power back-up. – Issue shall be raised with Amrapali Management.

 

ii. Quality of power from Genset is poor wrt it is frequency which can lead to damage of delicate equipments like TV, LED lights etc. – Issue shall be raised with Amrapali Management.

 

iii. Lifts are in pathetic condition. Mostly one lift is out of order in each tower.- – Issue shall be raised with Amrapali Management.

 

6. FACILITIES / SERVICES

i. Poorest possible service of telecom service provider. Other telecom companies including Airtel should be allowed. .- 70 residents have already signed up for change of the internet provider and introduction of other players like Airtel, Hathway, Spectranet etc. Balance residents in favour of more broadband companies shall be approached very soon for their signature and votes. Post which we shall immediately get the written approvals from Amrapali management for facilitating the same.

ii. Club is still not functional. – Issue shall be raised with Amrapali Management.

 

iii. Gymnasium is also not functional. – Issue shall be raised with Amrapali Management.

 

v. Water softening plant is inoperative, compelling usage of poor quality water leading to rusting of all sanitary fitting and posing health problem. – Issue shall be raised with Amrapali Management.

 

7. EXIT FROM TOWER-A TO COMMON AREA & MAIN GATE

One of Amrapali director has visited the Tower A and assured to take necessary action which is awaited – Issue shall be raised with Amrapali Management.


Points added over and above the earlier circular:

Dustbins in complex -– Issue shall be raised with Amrapali Management.


Notice boards and Letterboxes in all 4 towers for pasting circulars etc, so that no unnecessarily sticking and tapes are used especially in lifts. – Issue shall be raised with Amrapali Management.

 

Guards in all blocks ground floor reception with intercom and register facility– Issue shall be raised with Amrapali Management.


Whilst everyone appreciated love for animals, the stray dogs in the building to be immediately handed over to animal Ngo’s like PETA. Residents are also requested to cooperate in this issue in the larger interest of the society.

All residents are requested to extend their full cooperation to the committee and their suggestions to make Amrapali Eden park in actual an EDEN.


In addition to above Ms Shuchi Agarwal of D Block; has volunteered to post the suggestions and news bulletin regarding AEP on facebook. She will be assisted by earlier members by providing email addresses and contact details of all the residents. Meanwhile all are requested to visit and join www.facebook.com/amrapaliedenpark


It was  also proposed that the next meeting shall be held on Sunday, 21st December in the Club/Garden Area. Request all members present today and all those who missed out to have the final pushes to finish this project and have a better living.
