Dear Rajeev Ranjan Ji,
This is further in reference to the complaint filed in maintenance register on 29-May-2015, where there is no justified solution proposed as yet based on best practices being followed by the Builders.
Whenever there is power outage and the DG Backup is turned on the Meter trips for my flat. This causes an electricity outage to my flat as I have DG Load of 1KVA, to resume the electricity every time I have to call the Maintenance to reset the meter to resume the electricity to my house.
This adds to the pain in the night at odd hours, causing much trouble to the sleep of my family members when we have to wake up sweating, call maintenance and wait for relief until the maintenance guy comes in to reset the meter.
To my understanding Amrapali have put the DG Load directly on the meter instead of putting it in the in-house MCB Box. This causes the Meter to trip as usually the AC's are ON all the time in this hot weather.
In all Electrical Engineering basics I can not think of a single reason why would Amrapali have put the DG load on the meter and cause this inconvenience to the flat owners.
All other builders/societies put the DG Load to the in-flat MCB Box and not directly to the meter, so that it can be configured for selective points (In most cases only 6 Amp points and not 16Amp points)
Pracical/Logical Example:
If someone buys an Inverter for 500VA, he/she connects it to selective points in the house and not connect it directly to the main meter for inverter to trip every time there is power outage.
Issue Resolution Requested:
Appreciate if you can direct the maintenance staff to put the DG load to in-flat MCB box rather than the meter.
PS : I have paid Rs 25000+3.09% STax, however after 10 months still waiting for Internal Display Unit to be fixed.
Please let me know if there is any further information needed from me to this regard.
Thanks,
Rajat Agarwal
