what is the result of this action?

That simple, it removes the catalog from Ampache, all songs, albums and artists from this catalog. It doesn't remove your files from the disk of course.

OK I was hoping it would delete any disabled songs from hard disk.  Is there a way to delete a select group of song from a hard disk using ampache?

FYI, there is a new option 'delete_from_disk' that allow you to delete songs, albums or artists directly from the web interface.

This option is a new one. You have to get latest commits and generate the new config file.
