This morning started off chilly, with a brisk wind out of the north. As the sun rose higher in the sky, the temperature warmed up to a balmy 50 degrees, and 15 NFBC registered cyclists showed up at Main Beach to go for a bike ride.
We welcomed new member Kathryn, who moved here from the Dordogne region of France, having moved there from Boston, which she pronounced correctly: Bah-ston. Mike S reported that in addition to the Saturday arts market, SantaCon would start their official pub crawl at noon, so we should beware Santas partaking of more than wassail.
Thanks go out to Amy K for assuming the reins of ride leadership today, as Don and I cut our rides short to head home for more...football. No reports of flats, mishaps or other mayhem reached me, so I assume good times were had by all. Peter B will lead the ride on Christmas Day, so prepare yourselves for more holiday merriment. Ho-ho-ho!
