12-24 AI Ride Report

Happy Holidays!!

OMG, today was the perfect day to ride! Awesome temperature, no heavy winds, and the sun was out and shining on all our smiling faces! We had AmyK, MikeS, NormS, Cheryl R, PhillipsB, JerryY, & JayW on this fine Christmas Eve Day. 

As we rolled down the trail, we had Christmas Music playing, and checked out the festive T-shirts Amy, Cheryl, & Phillip were wearing, and those socks... Donna, we thought you would like our socks. 

And......... I hit my 6,000-mile goal for the year!!! That is the most miles I have ever ridden in a year. I promised the doctor I would take a break from riding once I hit my goal, to give my elbow and wrist a much-needed rest for ONE MONTH (yes, I am sad, but my elbow needs the rest). 

After the ride, MikeS, DonL, GusR, and I met for lunch at the Surf.... yummy lunch and great company!

Happy Holidays to all, and we hope to see you on the Christmas Day Ride tomorrow, leaving from Main Beach. Peter Bock will be our ride leader!
