How do you like this?  I finally got a 3D printer with a big enough print area to do this.

I still like the bamboo case. But grata print.

I'd like my next kit to include this - what are you thinking of as an upcharge cost?

I'm still trying to figure that out.  They take 19 hours each to print, so I'm looking into having them injection molded.

So this is where I say - as a huge fan - that you tell me it will cost $2-$3 hundred more or *F*off :)

Hi Chris,

Excellent attempt and looks the part - only hope that if you use the injection molding route you will note that Oscar's' PiDP-11 bezel costed an arm and a leg!

I like it and I guess the color is not final. :-)

I fear that IM tooling will be way to expensive for a low volume production. How many shots are we talking about?

Maybe 1,000.  I'd have them around for a few years!

I'm going to look into have some parts for the IMSAI kit molded so maybe I can work out a deal.

I just grabbed a spool of blue available in my shop, so that's not the final color.

BTW, if anyone has a printer with a 400mm bed, you can print your own.  Here's the file.

Thank you! What printer did you use? I just got a Creality CR-10s Pro last month, so far so good. Had some issues with bed leveling until I followed Luke Hatfield’s instructions.

I got an Anycubic Chiron.  I had previously bought a Tevo Black Widow, but that was too much fiddling and adjusting.  I just wanted one that worked right out of the box.

I like it--makes it look a lot different from the front. I'd like to add a larger enclosure for adding some odds and ends and this would make that a lot easier to do while keeping it looking professional.

Maybe I'll have to buy a 3D printer... :-)

Thanks,
