Hello.

The last weekend I test the Dazzler client with Altair Simulator and all worked fine. Today, I try to use VDM-1 client. I've prepared simulator (update firmware) to use VDM-1.

I configured VDM-1 on Native port.

Now the configuration is:
  • Map to interface: On USB Native Port
  • Memory address: CC00
  • DIP switch (1)+2: off/on (normal video)
  • DIP switch (3)+4: off/off (all cursors suppressed)
  • DIP switch (5)+6: on/off (control characteres show, VT-CR blanking on)
  • Map keyboard to: SIO

Client on windows is connected to the native port and baudrate it the same that Altair simulator.

I try to launch "CUTER on VDM-1" but never I achieved to see ">" but  a lot of characters are shown without sense. (I tried to change memory address at C000h too, without success)

What could be happening?

Thanks in advance.

Ok.

At the end I achieve to start walking VDM-1 terminal. At the moment I follow the documentation about VDM-1 from Altair Simulator (page. 18) and all work fine.
Thanks

Hi,

I've been running one of my Altair-Duino Pro computers as a Processor Technology Subsystem B/Sol-20 for a few years now.

I wish I could add the Processor Technology character set to a DHansel VersaTerm so I could at least use the character set on more computers.  Sadly, my eyes are too old to make the character file needed to load into the VersaTerm.
