trouble running altanalyze

Dear all,

I have installed Altanalyze 2.1.3 to use it for analyzing .cel files
from Affymetrix ClariomS rat Arrays.
Now I encounter several problems when trying to run the program:
- when trying to add rat as a new species, the program downloads .zip
files (e.g. OBO.zip) but then reports "parent directory not found"
repeatedly.
- also, when trying to get specifics for the ClariomS Array, a .cdf file
is requested. However, obviously Affymetrix changed its file extensions,
i.e. there is not .cdf file anywhere to be found.
- when using the results viewer to try to open a project, nothing is
found. Does one have to specifically create a project or where this can
be found at the end of the analysis?

Hi Matthias,

You are correct in that the current AltAnalyze uses clf and associated files as a special use case in place of cdf files. While it has been a while since I worked with these files, in the below thread I walk through how to proceed with these:
