Automatically scale with markers to have correct dimensions

Is it possible to glue markers on some board, measure it (for example 2-3m board), and then make it visible during photos of a car to automatically have the correct scale after the scan?

How it could be done in Meshroom. I use Agisoft Metashape and scale scans manually but I think about automating that process.
