Meshroom 2025.1.0 Release

We're excited to announce that Meshroom 2025.1.0 is now available for download!

Download Meshroom 2025.1.0

Meshroom has now become a node-based visual programming toolbox for creating, managing, and executing complex data processing pipelines, with a new plugin architecture.

Standard computer vision pipelines such as photogrammetry, camera tracking, HDR panorama, Lidar Meshing, Raw image files conversion and color calibration are now unified within the AliceVision plugin, featuring numerous improvements and optimizations.

Additionally, new AI-powered capabilities include a semantic segmentation plugin and a collection of open-source extensions available via the new MeshroomHub: https://github.com/meshroomHub. This platform enables Gaussian Splatting, monocular depth estimation, and other exploratory features, welcoming developer contributions to expand and enhance these capabilities for upcoming releases.

Hi, Meshroom doesn't open. For a few millisecond just show cmd and then closes. Sorry if this is not the place to check those bugs.

We’d appreciate it if you could file a GitHub issue with as many details as possible (workstation, OS, log, ..):

Please check first that you don't have any special character or space in your installation path.

We are currently focusing on new features, so the update of the documentation is not on our short term roadmap.

We’d love to get help from the community on this and are happy to support any initiative moving in this direction. Feel free to contact me if you’d like to get involved.

Hi,

I had the same problem: Meshroom 2025.1.0 wouldn't start up. I had placed the Meshroom folder in the Windows folder Program Files. When I moved the Meshroom folder to a different folder e.g. Photogrammetry or Scanning, then Meshroom started up normally. Maybe the space between Program and Files caused the error message.

  I wish I had the time to work on it, but probably not the mind at present.   Here's my own design and I can't even think of a name for it...A rotating boom with camera and pulleys to make a helical trajectory around central subject, without motors, just balance and counterbalance
