Dear Friends,
F.M. Alexander's 'Conscious Guidance and Control' is different from doing 'Yoga', different from 'Inhibition', different from 'Meditation', different from 'Being in the Present', and different from the concept of 'Thought Space and Present Space'
Yoga: You can check out Yoga on the Net.
Inhibition: Inhibition is an important concept in 'The Alexander Technique'
Meditation:
Meditation is the deliberate focusing of attention to bring about feelings of calm and heightened energy and awareness. Regular meditation offers many health benefits, such as reduced stress and anxiety. There are many different ways to meditate, such as using a mantra, looking at an object, or focusing on the breath.
Being in the Present:
Being Present means being fully conscious of the moment and free from the noise of internal dialogue. It's often associated with feelings of stillness and peace. Sensations often seem sharper.
Thought Space and Present Space: A property of eyesight: If we are looking at objects around
us sharply and clearly, we cannot simultaneously engage in a process of thought.
