Just getting a thread going on a possible game tomorrow....i'm thinking BHS might be a good option because kids are away for the holiday. But if Ranger/others think that El Cerritto or Canyon would be ok because it did not rain that much that maybe that is better. Interested to hear everybody's vibe on this....

It’s been raining all day here, so I doubt grass fields will be good.

It only rained/drizzled in EC.  My deck didn't even get wet under the tree.  We should be good at CV.  Unless, of course, we get a sudden downpour but that's not expected.  I'll double check the field later this evening.

Ranger,

I would check CV & make sure it's open / OK. This latest drizzle has been pretty light, but it's on top of fields that never dried out after those earlier rains. And CV drainage isn't as bad as San Pablo, but Canyon Trails might be even better.

OMG playing on grass tomorrow would be amazing, I'll be there if we have a spot. 

If we're on turf I'll hit Walnut Creek again, their field is pretty tough and drains well, if a bit sloped. Level is about the same even if the heckling isn't the same special quality without y'all.

Looks like ECHS (assuming you can get in).  CV was just over the edge but shouldn't get better overnight with two more showers predicted for the early morning.  I'll check Canyon Trail in the morning but don't expect a grass miracle. 

8:54am probably at ECHS.  Check for update around 8:15am Sunday.

According to echs staff, the field is usually locked. It was open last week only because someone cut the lock. And that’s not an easy fence to scale!

I later heard that there was also a hole in the fence. Damian, can you enlighten us?

Regarding BHS, I understood that the field has been booked up with no space for Ultimate.

James told me that BHS should be available as they are not using the field.
ECHS: there is a hole in the fence that would work to crawl under.

Yes! There is beach ultimate in Alameda at 11am Xmas day, at Sunset and Shoreline.
