Happy New Year!!  
We're starting the year with a few handbook meetings.
Here is the link to the first meeting.  And below that is the link to the Google folder that contains drafts of the handbook chapters.  The plan is to work on chapters 1 & 2.

It looks like there are no documents yet for Chapters 1 and 2 in the drive. Will these be available for review before the meeting?

Hi Jean and everyone,
Sorry for the delay.
The updated copies of Chapters 1 & 2 will be uploaded to Google Drive tomorrow.
Our JT Manual Team is looking at a few edits/changes tomorrow, Sunday at 5 p.m., and will immediately upload the documents after that.
We hope that that time frame will give everyone time to review before Tuesday's meeting.

The date modified still reads Nov 4.  Does this matter, or are these truly the new versions?  I want to print them out, so I want to make sure.  Thanks.

I have reviewed Chapters 1, 2 and 3, but will be unable to attend the meeting tomorrow night.

I agree with the blue clarification comments, as well as the changes in red. In Chapter 3, I approve deleting the requirement for 10 judges to approve continuing a cultivar on the HM list, as recommended by Gerry. I also approve having two Dykes Medals in the case of a tie.

I will be on the call tonight.  As a point of clarification to save time:  Is the first paragraph of the section intended to be a summary of those below?  If so, great.  If not the first paragraph of the section, “APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES” is restated completely in the first sentence of the paragraph below.

Hi Debbie, I am glad you are doing good.  I had Covid late June last year, was in the hospital for 4 days, very fortunate.  Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Yes, I should have double checked my calendar.  I will be there next week.  The dog, Gus,  was happy because he got his dinner earlier than usual.
