Salam, Bonjour tout le monde


Pour le Hackathon IPWAVE,

On aura pour principales taches:

  1. installer les cartes dans les PC
  2. vérifier que le PC fonctionne en mode WiFi
  3. patcher le kernel pour le passer en mode OCB à 5.9GHz 
  4. ping6 depuis un PC vers un autre, à 5.9GHz

For the IPWAVE Hackathon,

We will mainly have the following tasks:

install the cards in the PCs
check that the PC is working in WiFi mode
patch the kernel to switch it to OCB mode at 5.9GHz
ping6 from one PC to another, at 5.9GHz

Dear Participants,

Since the ipwave document is related to IPv6 protocol, I was wondering if we need a sort of Introduction to IPv6?

So my questions are:

  1. Are you familiar with IPv6 stack?
  2. Are you familiar with Wireshark?
  3. Are you familiar with Kernel compilation?

I had the chance to follow a mooc concerning IPv6. And for wireshark, I followed some tutorials. However, if you have interresting links to share, I will be happy to learn even more.
